I am trying to find out information on Thomas J. Selby (16-Oct-1836, 7-Mar-1914) and his family (wife(s) and children). My grandfather is Carl Lee Selby, who is the son (I believe the last) of Thomas. Carl was born in Dennis, MS. Thomas is buried in Joel Cemetery. I believe that Carl's mother's name was Alice, and I'm not sure if he was ever married to Alice, though I suppose he was since her 2 children by him have the Selby last name. One of his wives was Martha Ellen DEATON. I am hoping to find out the names, etc. of Thomas' children by all his wives and the names of his wives. Thanks |

I am looking for information on my GreatGrandfather, Alfred Columbus Pruitt(Pruit,Prewitt, etc). He was probably born in Tishomingo Co. in 1852. He is found on the 1860 Yell Co. Arkansas census living with William and Saphronia Toland(Tolan, Tolen). It appears that William and Saphronia may have been brother and sister, and were apparently the children of Isacc and Delila Tolen. They can all be found together on the 1850 Tishomingo Co. census. I have thought for some time that Saphronia might be Alfreds' mother, but I've not been able to find A Tolen/Pruitt connection. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. |
