Nathaniel & Lucy had son Samule Pleasant REED ca 1843. Lucy died. 2nd wife Nancy WHITE early 1844 son William Carroll REED & late 1844 son DeWitt REED. Moved to Yell Co AR abt 1848. Had son Jonathan. Nancy & Jonathan died. Nathaniel moved back to Rienze, MS abt 1851 married Sylvania (Sylvia) WHITEHURST July 30, 1853. Son Marion REED ca 1854. Moved to Polk Co. AR 1855, daughter Caledonia REED 1856. Nathaniel, Sylvia, Marion, & Caledonia REED headed for Arizona after the Civil War and were last heard from at Dexter, Texas. Nathaniel had a sister Satirah (Starry) REED who married John HAMILTON May 30, 1848 in Tishomingo Co MS, where they were on the 1850 & 1860 census. They are buried at Sardis Cemetery near Jacinto, MS.

Since he isn't in the 1870 census assuming he died before census. Also looking for death dat e and burial of his wife. She is not in the 1860 census so assuming she died some time between 1850 and 1860. She is listed as Mary in the 1850 census but her name may have been "Patsy". Any help would be appreciated and will be happy to share info.

Looking for George TUCKER b.1851 Al married Martha Ann Mariah Rowell c1864 and died in Tishomingo County MS between 1883 and 1884. He was living at Burnsville. He was on 1880 Tismomingo Co. MS census and was on 1882 Tax Roll. His widow was on 1884 tax roll. His widow moved back to Winston Co. AL where she died in 1945. I cannot find where he is buried in Burnsville. It was suppose to be a logging accident. Does anyone know where he is buried

Pittman PITTS born about 1784 in Virginia, married in 1807 Mary ANDREWS, born about 1790 in Virginia. Moved from Madison County, Alabama to Tishomingo Co. Mississippi before 1850 with adult children including - Younger Pitts, Benjamin Franklin Pitts, William C. Pitts and perhaps two or three daughters. Another daughter, Susan Pitts married Robert D. Dennison in Alabama and moved to Arkansas. Pittman Pitts died in Tishomingo County, Mississippi in 1855. Mary Andrews Pitts then moved to Noxubee Co. Mississippi.

Children were: Elizabeth b.abt 1825 d.abt 1844 m.abt 1841 (+/- 1year) ? Cunningham d.1843 one child: Melinda Ann Cunningham b.12/25/1842 Nancy b.abt 1827 d.abt 1845 m.abt 1840 Coleman Nichols one child: Melissa b.abt 1845 step daughter: Caroline Nichols This sister took Melinda Ann Cunningham to raise Greenwood b.abt 1829 Washington b.abt 1831 Benjamin b.abt 1833 (any of these birth dates are +/- 2 years)Moved to Tishomingo County sometime between 1933 and 1841.Strongly possible that Jacob and his sons went to the Indian Territory between 1841 and 1845. After the death of her Aunt Nancy, Melinda was reared by the Joseph and Lousia Mitchel family of Franklin County, AL.
