the 1870 Tishomingo Co. Census. Especially his son Thomas Harrison, b. 1860 MS.
Isiah Harrison, b. 1822 AL...wife Elenor (?) , b. 1820 SC. Children listed
are William, Amanda, Carlisle, Martha, Thomas, and Robert. Living next door
to Margarett Spencer. Thomas Harrison was raised by his aunt who was a
Spencer. Also living next door was a Joseph Harrison which may also be a
son of Isiah Harrison. Any help on this family will be very helpful.

the most part interested in the William HIGGINS family. From records I have
researched I believe he was my GG~Grandfather. Andrew HIGGINS may have been
the father of William. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Will share

WILLIS
My ggg-grandfather was James Willis. He and his wife, Mary Lovell are both
listed in 1850 through 1870 Tishomingo Co census records as born in NC in
1800. Their oldest son Daniel was born in NC also about 1820. He married an
Elizabeth Freeze in Tishmingo Co in the 1850's Their next four children;
Loucretia, Avis, Moses (my gg-grandfather) and Mary Polly were born in AL in
the 1820's and early 1830's. Loucretia and Avis later married LAMBERT.
brothers in Tishomingo Co. A Lambert descendant has provided me some
fascinating info on those families. The last four children were born in TN and
Tishomongo Co. They were Rebecca, Sarah, Viney Catherine and William the last
in 1842 who may have been a twin to Viney Catherine.
I haven't been able to find when James or Mary died nor where they're buried.
I'm also stymied in obtaining any info on their NC origins. Are there any
"cousins" out there with any fill-in info on the siblings of my gg-grandfather
Moses or perhaps something ancestral in NC?

Union Army at Corinth, Mississippi on June 10, 1863 as part of Company "E"
1st Alabama Calvery, I know that he spend part of his time as a prisoner
of war. What I would like to find is a book outlining the organization of
this company and their engagements with the Confederate forces. Does
anyone know where I might find this information?

and his wife, Rachel were living in Tishomingo County, MS in the 1840 and
1850 U.S. censuses. I believe that Daniel and Rachel moved to Tishomingo
County from Hardin County, TN. They had the following children: Amanda F.,
Sarenda J., James Monroe, Almonda, America A., and Thomas Jefferson. I am
trying to find proof that this Daniel VANLANDINGHAM is the son of George
Adams VANLANDINGHAM and Jennie BRUMLEY. If he is, Daniel married 1st to
Mary BUOY in Pendleton County, KY in 1821 and had children Mary and Andrew
Jackson VANLANDINGHAM from his first marriage. I have information I am
willing to share on this line and would appreciate any help in making a
connection between the two families.

Researching: Isaac Ezell b. about 1816 NC; m. Sarah Long; father was Lewis
Ezell
who d. 1842 in Lauderdale Co., Ala.; his mother was Nancy (Rogers) dau. of
Jonathan Rogers, Hertford Co., NC.; Isaac was living in Tishomingo Co., MS
before
1850 and after 1860. Sarah was b. in SC about 1810. Her first child, Margaret
Elizabeth was b. in Ala. before she m. Isaac there. We know she was related
to the Longs, but marriage certificate to Isaac looks like last name Lans.
Margaret Elizabeth took the Ezell name. Was her last name Long, Lans or
something else?
Was she part Indian? Who were Sarah's parents? Anyone with these family
names?

LAWSON
In 1840, there were Jenncy Lawson, William Lawson and
Daniel Lawson, in Thshomingo Co, MS. Jency Came back to Alabama and was in
1850 Census of St Clair Co. Legend is that she departed for Arkansas with
her son Pickens. Pickens Lawson had a Land Grant in 1857, in AR.
I know nothing of William's and Daniel's subsequent history. Jency Lawson's
children married into the Battles family, two daughters married two
brothers. They lived in Independence and Izard Cos. AR.in 1860 Census.
Pickens married and had two children of whom we can account. Any
information on the history of these families would be greatly appreciated.

of Kattie as she was my grandmother. Kattie married Robert Greenberry
Childers in 1878, Prentiss Co. MS. In 1875 Elias C. McElyea was listed on
the roster of members for Masons in Lee Co. MS. Would like to obtain more
information of this McElyea family and know where they went.

This same Robert was also on 1840 I descend through John who was born in TN.
