The references below are to three maps;

1. - The 1860 Map is a hand drawn map. It was in the 1903 issue of the Corinth Harold Paper.
2. - The 1895 Map can be viewed at : 1895 Just hit back to return.
3. - This is a well survived out map, but when I copied it,I failed to get the date.I call it the Supervisors Districts, because someone had written the districts in.This is a very good map and will try to get it up soon.

Alcorn: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts, also found on the 1895 map. Located 6 miles south of Corinth in Alcorn County.

Altitude: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts. Located in Prentiss County.

Anemone: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts. Located in Alcorn County.

Antioch: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts and also found on the 1895 map. Is Located in Prentiss County.

Archer: Was located 3 1/2 miles Southeast of Iuka. Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts,Tishomingo County.

Ardon: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts. Is Located in Prentiss County.

Baldwyn: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts, and the 1895 map. Is Located in Prentiss County, is located on the county line of Itawamba County.

Bay Springs: Found on the 1860 map.

Belmont: Located 3 miles south of Dennis Ms. on the west side of Big Bear Creek, Tishomingo County. Found on the 1895 map, also on the map of Supervisors Districts.

Blackland: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts, also the 1860 and the 1895 maps. Is Located in Prentiss County, just west of Wolf Creek.

Booneville: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts, and the 1895 maps. Is Located in Prentiss County. Found on the 1860 map as Cross Roads, Cross Ridge is what it was called in earlier times.

Boneyard: Found on the 1860 map. Known now as Alcorn County this map has been hand drawn.

Browns Creek: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts. Is Located in Prentiss County.

: Found on all maps, 7 1/2 miles northwest of Iuka,Ms. in Tishomingo County.

Burnt Mills: Just northwest of Highland found on a map of 1895. This would have been located close to where the town of Tishomingo is now located in Tishomingo County.

Burrow: Found on the 1895 map, also on the map of Supervisors Districts. Is Located in Alcorn County near the county line of Tippah County.Would have been located in Tippah County before 1870.

Burton: Found on the 1860 map, 1895 map, and also on the map of Supervisors Districts. Is Located in Prentiss County near the county line of Tishomingo County.

Old Cairo aka-Cairo: Was found on the map of Supervisors Districts and the 1895 map, located in Tishomingo County.

Candler: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts. Is Located in Tishomingo County, located between Holcut and Paden.

Cape Horn: map 1860 , believe this town could have been located in Prentiss County after 1870. Wasn't found on any other maps.

Carolina: Found on the 1860 map. Known now as Prentiss County.

Carrollvile: Found on the 1860 map. Known now as Prentiss County this map has been hand drawn. Located just north west of Baldwyn.

Cartersville: Is shown on the 1860 map and the 1895 map,is named in some of the earliest records of Tishomingo County.

Claudville: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts, and the 1895 map. Is Located in Prentiss County.

Coke: Up till 1870 was located in Itawamba County. Afterwards in Tishomingo County. Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts.

Cooks Landing: I haven't found this town , but have been ask about it.If you know where it is located please let me know.

Corinth: The name was changed in 1855 to Corinth, when is was first formed was called Cross City. Is Located in Alcorn County.

Cross Ridge: Is now the town of Booneville.Located in Prentiss County .

Cripple Deer: Found on 1895 map,and was found on a map of Supervisors Districts.Located in Tishomingo County on Cripple Deer Creek.

Cross City: In about 1855 the name changed to Corinth Ms. located in Alcorn County.

Cross Roads - North Cross Roads: Cross Roads is Located north of Iuka. In Tishomingo County on highway 25 & 365.

Cuba: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts, also on the 1895 map.Located in Alcorn County.

Daltonville: Was found on the map of Supervisors Districts. Is Located in Prentiss County.

Damon: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts, an the 1895 map. Located in Alcorn County.

Danton P.O.: A post office was established, February 21, 1851 with John Robinson appointed as the only postmaster. The Post office was discontinued, July 1, 1851. Danton was later known as Iuka with Demosthenes L. Davis as its first postmaster in 1857.(Taken from a news letter of Iuka Surname Society. )

Dennis: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts, also on the 1895 map.Located in Tishomingo County.

Donald: Was found on the map of Supervisors Districts. Located in Prentiss County.

Doskie: Found on 1895 map, an on the map of Supervisors Districts. North of Burnsville on Hy. 365 in Tishomingo County.

Dryrun: Was found on the map of Supervisors Districts, also the 1895 map. Is Located in Prentiss County.

Durant Mills: Was found on a map by Clifton B. Sawyer no dates.Was located in Prentiss County.

Eastport: Was shown on the map 1860. Located in Tishomingo County.

Eagle: Was found on a map by Clifton B. Sawyer no dates.Was located in Alcorn County.Also showed up also with Glen as the Eagle Post office.

Elma: Was found on the map of Supervisors Districts, and the 1895 map. Is Located in Prentiss County.

Emma: Up till 1870 was located in Itawamba County. Afterwards in Tishomingo County. Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts.

Evans Landing: Was found on a map of Supervisors Districts. Is Located in Tishomingo County.

Hovis: Was found on the map of Supervisors Districts. Is Located in Alcorn County.Would have been in Tippah County before 1870.
