Page 85- March 2,1705/1706-  Hon. Thomas Cary, Deputy Governor of N. C., to David Perkins- 1lb. 10 shillings- grant of 160 acres plus 11 pole bounded easterly on Mr. Barrow.

“To John Cary Esq. From the said David Perkins and Mary, his wife”

 

Jan. 7, 1707/1708-  David Perkins and Mary, wife, to Hon. Thomas Cary Esq., for his son, John Cary’s use- 20lbs. - Above mentioned tract except that part which we formerly sold to Joel Martin, Sen., Simon Alderson, Sen. And John Lawson and now laid out for a town.
