Below is my transcription of a "way bill" letter from the 1850's, written to my
great grandfather Martin W. Walker from his brother Thomas A. Walker. I have the
original, and also another couple of letters dated 1859 from TAW to MWW, as well.

Their father was William Walker, whose will is already posted, who lived, as did
his father Thomas, Sr., between Blounts Creek and Edward. Thomas A. left BC in
the 1840s or so, about the same time that Martin moved to the present Walker
Road area of Richland Township and married Elizabeth Rowe.

The patrons of the BC web site might find this amusing and certainly an interesting
snap shotof life in 1850.

If anyone can identify any of the places mentioned , e.g. Marlbers Station, Long
Creek, I would like to hear from them. I haven't been able to find those places
on a map. Thank you.
