In obedience to an order of Pitt November Term 1816 to lay off and set apart to Elizabeth Hopkins widow of Arnold Hopkins dec'd the dower or one third part of the lands belonging to s'd dec'd we the subscribers have met on a jury and after being sworn have had run and received the premises and have allotted layed off & set apart for the said widow her dowry and one third part of the land of said dec'd. and bounded as follows beginning at a gum on the Coneto Creek running east to the main road near to the late dwelling house of the dec'd. Then south sixty degrees east forty-eight poles to a black jack in Porter's line then along Porter's line to the Creek then the various courses of the Creek to the first Station. Given under our hands and Seals this 30th day of November 1816. Surveyed by
