son, George Bradbury, of same, Oct. 10, 1780, for love and affection a
240 acres plantation on the north side of Neuse River and lower side of
Little River and on Buck Meadow, the Briery Branch, and Marsh Branch adjoining
Benjamin Sherrod, said James Bradbury, George Bradbury, and William Hooks,
being the remaining part of a survey whereon said George Bradbury now lives,
taken up by said James Bradbury by patent bearing date Sept. 26, 1766;
also another 80 acre plantation adjoining Elias Ballard, Wm. Grant, Henry
Easterling (now David Worrell), and William Hooks, being part of a grant

#578 deed bk. p. 315 George Bradbury deed to Thomas Chambers Bradbury, July 22, 1786, for five pds. specie a tract of 100 acres on the north side of Nuce River adjoining his own line, Wm. Hooks, John Tilton, and John Howell as by patent granted to said George Bradbury bearing date Sept.. 30, 1785. Wit: David Jernigan Junír, Robert Eachus.
#618 deed bk. p.370 George Bradbury of Wayne Co. deed to Isaac Hall of same, Nov.. 17, 1786 for 80 pds specie three certain tracts of land as follows: (1) 160 acres on the north side of Little River and on the Marsh Branch adjoining William Hooks, being part of a tract of 640 acres taken up by James Bradbury, Senír bearing date Sept. 26, 1766; (2) a certain tract on the north side of Little River and on the West side of the North Branch adjoining William Hooks and James Boyt, as by patent granted to said George Bradbury bearing date Oct.. 25, 1782; (3) part of survey for 20 acres, being all of that part that lies on the west side of the of the Marsh Branch in or near Tuckersís line and adjoining the other lands, which land was surveyed for said George Bradbury and the patent is not yet issued but to be taken out at the expense of said Isaac Hall. Wit: John Howell, Elizabeth Bagget. The deed was also signed by Elizabeth Bradbury.

of same, Jan. 5, 1792, for 55 pds. currency a certain plantation on the
north side of Neuse River and on the lower side of Little River and on
the dreanes of Buck Swamp adjoining Howell, Hooks, and another piece of
land that was taken up by John Tilton and by his will conveyed to his daughter,
now the wife of said Wilson, as by will and patent bearing date Sept. 30,
1785; the other survey was patented by George Bradbury, transferred to
Thos. Chm. Bradbury, by said Bradbury to Henry Wilson, and now by said
Wilson to George Bradbury, as by patent bearing date Sept. 30, 1785 for
#1309 deed bk. p. 314 Thomas Chambers Bradbury of Wayne county a house carpenter bill of sale to James Thompson of same, planter, March 9, 1792 for 19 pds 9 sh lawful money of the State two beds, and furniture, one horse, nine head of cattle, twenty head of hogs, with all my household goods and working tools one cart wheels, and bacon wit: Jesse Croon, Daniel Croon.

of Wayne Co., cooper, deed of gift to his son, George Bradbury, Oct. 6,
1792, for the love and affection a tract of 350 acres on the north side of
Little River and on Bryry Branch, a branch of Buck Swamp, adjoining William
Hooks, Howell, the land given by John Tilton by will to his daughter Hannah, and
sold to me by her husband Henry Wilson, and Alfordís land bought of said
Wilson, as bounded by Tiltonís will and as by deeds to me from Wilson and
James Bradbury and by patents. Said George Bradbury is not to sell or
lease the land during the lifetime of his father nor hinder him from cutting
necessary timber on same.
