A Wayne County, NCGenWeb site user seeks help in identifying where this house is.
My gggrandfather was William Pike, who is listed in the
1850 and 60 census
for Pikeville. The house is where he grew up but I don't know where that
is. The back of the picture says that the woman is William's sister,
Christian P. Pike who married a Talton. From another source I have learned
that she was married to Edwin Talton, so I am assuming that is the older man.
