Waynesborough Park
Waynesborough Park is located on the western side of Goldsboro on Hwy 117 bypass.  View Pictures. 

The Johnston County Heritage Center
The Johnston County Heritage Center cut the ribbon on it's new building on April 15, 2000. 
It Is located at the corner of Third and Market Streets (Hwy. 70 business) in Smithfield.
In addition to materials on Johnston County, the new center houses a large collection of materials on other eastern NC counties, including Wayne. 
They have full time staff who are familiar with the entire collection.
Hours: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Tuesday - Friday and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday.
