Durand / Duran / Malone / Zabka / Stewart / Shack?
I am looking for information on any of the names I have listed. My grandparents Clyde and Catherine (Kate) Durand lived in Loretto and Albion. Shack was my grandmother Durand's maiden name and I am not sure of the spelling. My grandparents Tom and Alice Malone lived in Siver Creek and I am not sure if that is in Boone County. My great grandparents Frank Malone and Charlotte Stewart Malone, I believe lived in Boone County. My Zabka grandparents were from this area also but I have absolutely no information about them. Any information anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. I will gladly share any information I have. Donna Durand Ruiz

Has anyone in Boone County done genealogy research on the family of Nels and Henrietta Johnson? They were in Boone County in the early 1900's. My mother was "adopted" by them in 1914. Thanks for any reply. Bev

White and Hamilton - I am searching for my anchestors. My Grandmother was Clara Frances White. I do not know where she was born - possibly Iowa but I do know that she married Edward Wesley Steele in 1903 or 1904. They had a farm in Belgrade, NE. They had 5 children, all born on the farm. Alice Isabelle, Arthur William, Edith Lola, Elmer Wesley and Bernice Mildred Steele. He died in a farming accident in 1915. Clara Frances died on the farm in 1922 or 1923. I am told her parents were John and Anna Hamilton. They lived in Beatrice in 1904. Anyone with information on the White Family please contact me at the above e:mail.
