He was born Aug 1844 in Delaware, and he died sometime before 1910 in Boone Co. He and his wife Alice Abbott Webb had 7 children (Jenny, Arthur, George, Harry, Orville, Eugene, and John Henry. The family lived in Cass County, Michigan prior to settling in the St. Edward area.

I was recently given a photo of a woman taken by C. W. Brokaw photography of Albion, Nebraska. I am trying to identify who C.W. Brokaw was. Any Information Greatly Appreciated

I have two queries concerning Amos C. Fox, my great grandfather. Amos C. Fox was found frozen to death on or about March 3, 1881 having left Albion, NE for home. I have been unable to find where he is buried in any cemetery. Maybe he was buried where he perished.
My second query is regarding a land claim, (homestead claim?). The article I have says that he and a son (possibly Wallace C) filed a claim on Section 8, Twp. 21, Range 6.
My information was taken from a book, Boone County History 1871-1985 which is at our local public library, genealogy dept.
I would appreciate any information you could give me.

WARNER posted by Janet Clingerman on Monday, June 11, 2007: I would be most grateful for information concerning the family of Odetta Warner b 1895 who married Wallace J Nelson b 1892. They lived in Albion, Nebraska in 1920 and 1930. Odetta's great-grandfather, Asher Warner, was killed in the 1813 battle of Sodus Point, NY.

My great-grandfather's sister was married to Charles M. Cotterman. I don't have detailed Cotterman family history but have recently found two family photographs including Benton & Lena Cotterman. I tried replying to the email address in the original query, but it is no longer functional. If anyone's still out there looking for Cotterman info & would like these photos, please contact me.
