LAST RITES HELD HERE FOR MRS. VINNIE ANDREWS

Former Resident of Coleridge Passes Away Sunday at Shenandoah

Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church here Wednesday 
afternoon for Mrs. Vinnie Andrews 85, former Coleridge resident, who 
passed away at Shenandoah, IA Sunday August 12, following a lengthy 
illness.

Rev. Harold Bonath officiated at the services here. A short prayer 
service was held at Shenandoah. Burial was at Magnet.

Vinnie Nancy, daughter of George & Elizabeth Rose, was born at Union, 
NE on March 4, 1871. She was married to Blanche Miller in 1890. After 
Mr. Miller’s death she married again to Lewis Andrews in the early 
1900’s. She resided at Union for 31 years and later lived at Magnet 
six years and at Coleridge for 18 years, before residing the past 10 
years with her daughters in Iowa.

She is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Fay (Elva) Whitney of 
Shenandoah, IA. Mrs. E.R. (Fae) Montgomery of Morrill, NE and Mrs. 
Henry (Clara) Lisk of Independence, IA. Four sisters; Mrs. Ed Dillon 
of St. Joseph, MO., Mrs. John Dillon of Kansas City, MO., Mrs. Viola 
Frans and Mrs. John McClaflin both of Coleridge and two brothers Ray 
Rose of South Sioux City and Fay Rose of Coleridge. She was preceded 
in death by two husbands and five children.
