ADA BELL BARNT

Ada Bell Black was born June 7, 1884 to Samuel and Lucy (Tedro) Black 
in Henry County, Iowa. She came with her parents and family to the 
Randolph, Nebr. area before moving to Magnet. In 1904 she was married 
to Carl D. Barnt and they farmed and owned a dray line at Magnet. Ada 
passed away on November 28, 1908 leaving her husband Carl and three 
children, Lyle age 2, Alda age 1 and Vivian who is just a few weeks 
old to mourn her death. Two brothers, Gilbert and Franklin preceded 
her in death.
