Korth ====================================================================== BEN BARTLETT, 72 DIED AT HIS HOME Ben Bartlett, 72, farmer in the Magnet vicinity for the past 40 years, died at his home April 12, after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Magnet Hall and interment was in the Magnet Cemetery. Mr. Bartlett, a native Nebraskan, had farmed continually since coming to the Magnet community from Cuming County. Benjamin Barltett, son of Job and Elizabeth Bartlett, was born March 26, 1879 on a farm in Richardson County, Nebraska. He was united in marriage to Carrie Burns December 24, 1902. In 1902, they moved from Richardson to Cuming County and came from there in 1910 to the Magnet vicinity. He is survived by; his wife, five sons, Harley of Little Rock, Ark., Albert of Wausa, Bertom of Eagle Bend, Minn., Harold of Hartington, Charles of Antioch, Calif., one daughter, Ida Mae at home, a brother Guy of Corning, Calif., sister Mrs. Mamie Ross, Glendale, Caif., 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Carl of Washington.
