CARRIE BARTLETT Last rites will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:00 at the Randolph City Auditorium for Mrs. Carrie Elizabeth Bartlett, 79, who passed away Sunday, January 3, at her home near Magnet. Leslie Olsen and Miss Mable Hicks officiated at the services. Internment was made at the Magnet Cemetery with the Berge Mortuary in charge. Pallbearers were Cliff Keetle, Harold Bloomquist, Floyd Dawson, Gud Peterson, David Johnson and Ray Flaugh. Carrie Elizabeth Burns, daughter of James Miller and Emma Elizabeth Burns was born May 3, 1880 at Rockport, MO. She was united in marriage to Benjamin F. Bartlett in Richardson County December 24,1902. To this union six children were born, five sons and one daughter. The family moved to the Magnet community in 1910 where both Mr. and Mrs. Bartlett resided until their deaths. Mr. Bartlett preceded his wife in death April 12, 1951. Survivors are her children: sons, Harley of Little Rock, Ark.; Bertram of Eagle bend, Minn.; Charles of Antioch, Calif.; Albert of Wausa and Harold of Randolph; daughter, Ida Mae Bartlett of McLean; sisters, Mrs. Florence Gordon of Kansas, Mo.; Mrs. Rose Hunt of Independence, Mo.; Mrs. Eva Baker of Fulda, Minn.; Mrs. Ruth Smith of Omaha and Mrs. Ida Graham of Randolph; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
