Korth ====================================================================== VIOLA BARTLETT Funeral services for Viola Bartlett, 76 of Wausa were held on Sunday, January 16 at the Wausa Auditorium with John Lambotte officiating internment was made in the Magnet Cemetery under the direction of the Johnson Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Michael Bartlett, Gary Bartlett, Randall Bartlett, Kurtis Whaley, Dan Bartlett and LaRon Bartlett. Mrs. Bartlett, daughter of Ross and Fan Newman Black, was born July 11, 1906 at McLean. On February 25, 1926 she and Albert G. Bartlett were married at Yankton, SD. The couple farmed in the Magnet community until their retirement in 1973, when they moved to Wausa. Mrs. Bartlett passed away on Thursday, January 13 at the Wausa nursing home. Survivors include her husband: two sons, Ronald of Des Moines, IA. And Dalton of Colorado Springs, CO; two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Dwyla) Whaley and Karolyn Bartlett both of Wausa; two brothers, Ray Black of Los Gatos, Calif., and Howard Black of Randolph; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and a grandson.
