Korth ====================================================================== ALVA W. BEAUDETTE Alva Beaudette was born at Bancroft, Nebraska to John and Maude Beaudette on February 7, 1904. He moved at an early age with his parents to the Magnet community and here he grew to manhood and most of his formal education was received in the Magnet Public School. Alva was baptized in the Christian Church at Magnet and was a life long member. On January 16, 1924, he was united in marriage to Gladys Andrews, to this union was born four children. The couple farmed in Wausa and Magnet communities for most of their married life with the exception of seven years at Wayne, Nebraska at which time he was employed at the Henningson Co. of Norfolk. In 1970 they retired and purchased a home in Wausa, where they have lived since. They celebrated their Golden anniversary, along with their children and other relatives and friends in 1974. Alva passed away from this life on March 19th in the St. Luke’s Hospital in Sioux City after several months of illness at the age of 74 years, one month and eleven days. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Clarence. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Gladys; two sons, Arlen of Wausa and Terry of Norfolk; two daughters, Twilla, Mrs. Alvin White of Wausa and LaVonda, Mrs. Dale Olson of Pierce; two daughter-in-laws and two son-in-laws, along with six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Lee of Magnet, Ralph of Bloomfield, Elwood and Lyle of Wausa and one sister Maude, Mrs. Milton Larson of Wausa and many other relatives and friends.
