Korth ====================================================================== DOROTHY BEAUDETTE Funeral services for Dorothy M. Beaudette, 79, of Wausa were held Friday morning September 11, 1998 at the Magnet Christian Church. The Rev. Michael Mace officiated. Cathy Beaudette was vocalist and Mary Turner, pianist. Pallbearers were Ron Beaudette, Von Beaudette, John Beaudette, Elywn Beaudette, Delwyn Beaudette and Arlen Beaudette. Honorary Pallbearers were Mike Beaudette, Chris Beaudette, Terry Beaudette, Richard Beaudette, Kevin Olsen and nephews and nieces. Internment was at the Magnet Cemetery. Dorothy Beaudette, daughter of Floyd and Maggie (Smith) Mesch, was born May 10, 1919 at Bazile Mills. She graduated from Bloomfield Public School in 1937. She married Lyle A. Beaudette, December 29, 1937, at Yankton, SD. The couple farmed near Creighton before moving to Wausa. She was employed at the dental office in Wausa for many years before retiring in 1984. She was a member of Magnet Christian Church. Her favorite pastimes included crocheting and entertaining family and friends at her home. In 1991 she entered Wausa Health Care Center where she lived until her death September 7, 1998. Survivors include sons and spouses, Dennis and Margaret Beaudette and David and Cathy Beaudette all of Norfolk; brother George Mesch of Stanton; sisters, Vera Barlow of Green Valley, AZ and Shirley Schlect of Denver, CO. six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister.
