Korth ====================================================================== SERVICES HELD AT MAGNET FOR JOHN BEAUDETTE John Beaudette, 82, resident of the Magnet vicinity for 57 years passed away Wednesday, March 27. He had been in falling health the past year. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Magnet Christian Church with Mr. Kim Gilbert officiating. Don Gordon was a soloist and Mrs. Gordon was pianist. Interment was made in the Magnet Cemetery, Pallbearers were Richard Beaudette, Terry White, John Beaudette, Arlen Beaudette, Danny Beaudette and Allen Beaudette. John Beaudette was born May 31, 1880 at Winterset, IA, to Joseph and Sara Beaudette. The family came to Nebraska, settling at Union, when he was a boy and later moved to Bancroft where Mr. Beaudette grew to young manhood. In July of 1896 he was married to Maude Cranford. The couple moved to the Magnet vicinity 57 years ago and farmed north of Magnet. Survivors include his widow, Maude; five sons, Alva, Lee, Ralph, Elwood, and Lyle; one daughter, Mrs. Milton (Maude) Larson of Wausa, two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Clarence, four brothers and six sisters.
