Korth ====================================================================== LYLE BEAUDETTE LAST RITES HELD Funeral services were held for Lyle Beaudette in the Magnet Christian Church in Magnet on Wednesday, October 22nd. The 2 o’clock service was conducted by Rev. Ronald Ebb and Rev. Brian Young. Lyle Amos Beaudette was born May 4, 1918 at Plainview, NE to John and Maude Beaudette. At an early age, he moved with his family to a farm near Magnet. He grew to manhood in Magnet and Wausa communities where he received his education. He was a life long member of the Christian Church where he attended Sunday school and Church. On December 29, 1937, he married Dorothy Mesch at Yankton, SD and they farmed west of Wausa for 23 years, during which time he served on the Rural School board as the Secretary for 12 years. In 1960, they left farming operations and moved to Wausa where he has been employed as Custodian in the Wausa Public School system for the past 20 years. Lyle passed away suddenly at his home Saturday evening, October 18, 1980 at the age of 62 years, 5 months and 13 days. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Dorothy; two sons Dennis and David, two daughters-in-law, Margaret and Cathy, all of Norfolk; four grandchildren, Michelle, Dawn, Kelli and Shawn, also of Norfolk.
