Korth ====================================================================== RALPH “AL” BEAUDETTE Funeral services for Ralph “Al” Beaudette, 69, of Bloomfield were held Wednesday morning, December 17, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. Internment was in the Magnet Cemetery. Ralph Allen Beaudette, son of Ralph J. and Ethel M. (Young) Beaudette, was born June 23, 1928, at Magnet. He attended rural Bloomfield school, growing up on farms in the Bloomfield, Magnet and Pierce area. He worked as a mechanic in Bloomfield before starting his own business. He owned and operated the Phillips 66 station for 25 years and also owned and operated Bloomfield Auto Supply and Al’s Mower Shop for several years. He married Mildred Henrickson December 24, 1947 at Pierce. They lived near Wausa and moved to Bloomfield in 1952. He served as mayor of Bloomfield from 1966 to 1976, served as a city councilman and was a member of the volunteer fire department for 25 years. He was also a member of Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce, Masonic Lodge AF & AM 218, Bloomfield Eastern Star Scottish Rite Free Masonry 32nd Degree and ElRiad Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. He died Monday, December 15, 1997 at Good Samaritan Center in Bloomfield. Survivors include his wife Mildred, children and spouses, George and Sheila Beaudette of Bloomfield, Tom Beaudette of Omaha, Bill and Doreen Beaudette of Fremont, Judy and Nick Dohmen of Newman Grove and Nita and Roger Olso of Duncan, Okla.; 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He also leaves a brother, Robert of Crofton and many nieces and nephews
