Korth ====================================================================== FANNY BLACK Mrs. Fanny Black, 68, resident of the McLean and Magnet communities for many years, and mother of Howard Black of Randolph, died Tuesday afternoon in a Norfolk hospital. She was taken to the hospital on Sunday and her condition had been serious from that time on. Funeral services will be held at the Community Hall in Magnet on Friday afternoon, June 1. Readers will be Grace Hoops and Blanche Hartsock. Burial will be in the Magnet cemetery. Fanny Neuman was born on February 4, 1883 near Shenandoah, IA. Following her marriage to Roscoe Black they came to Nebraska and for 30 years farmed on the McLean community. In 1933, Mr. Black was taken by death and for the past 18 years Mrs. Black had resided in Magnet. Survivors are three sons, Ray and Earl of Marshalltown, IA, Howard of Randolph; daughter, Mrs. Viola Bartlett of Magnet; four brothers, Roy Neuman and Sylvester Neuman of Lake Andes, SD, Ross Neuman of Sioux City, Logan Neuman of Omaha; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Jones and Mrs. Lulu Richardson of Mitchell, SD, Mrs. Olive Mosely of Wakefield: 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers Ray and Chester Neuman, and one grandchild.
