Korth ====================================================================== MEETS DEATH BY ACCIDENT ANDREW BLOOMQUIST A PROSPEROUS FARMER IS KILLED WHILE STACKING HAY Andrew Bloomquist a young farmer living about one and a half miles south of Magnet was killed Tuesday afternoon while helping a brother stack hay. They were stacking hay with a sweep stacker and one of the loads bought up by the sweep came with such force that Bloomquist was thrown off the stack. He fell head first to the ground and his brother thought that he was unconscious from the force of the fall. When he did not gain consciousness, examination was made and it was discovered that his neck had been broken and that death had been instantaneous. The deceased was a thrifty farmer. He was a hard worker and a good neighbor. He was well known to Wausa people having lived in this vicinity until a short time ago. He was a single man but left two brothers, a sister and father to mourn his loss. The funeral of Mr. Bloomquist will be held from the home this forenoon at 10:30 o’clock. Rev. Hultman of this place will conduct the services.
