Korth ====================================================================== HAROLD BLOOMQUIST Harold Bloomquist, 73, a lifetime resident of Magnet community passed away suddenly on Monday April 29, at the Osmond Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday (today) at 2:00 p.m. at the Magnet Christian Church with Jerry Quandt of Norfolk officiating. Internment will be in the Magnet cemetery under the direction of the Johnson Funeral Home. Harold F., son of Frank and Anna Nelson Bloomquist was born November 29, 1901 at Magnet. On January 2, 1924 he married Katherine Popken at Sioux City, IA. The couple farmed in the Magnet community until their retirement in 1972 when they moved into Magnet. Survivors include his widow, Katherine of Magnet; two sons Dwight of McLean and Dale of Magnet; three daughters, Mrs. Byron (Ila) McLain of Belden, Mrs. Dan (Shirley) Dawson of Magnet and Mrs. Harold (Connie) Wintz of Omaha; two brothers Martin of McLean and Paul of Waterloo, IA; four sisters, Mrs. Harvey (Edna) Stohl of Dos Palos, Calif., Mrs. Bert (Helen) Mitchell of Randolph, Mrs. Herman (Ethel) Behrend of Wausa and Mrs. Bernard (Doris) Becker of Norfolk; 23 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
