Korth ====================================================================== MARTIN BLOOMQUIST Martin J. Bloomquist 81, of McLean, Nebraska passed away on Friday, May 19 at the Osmond hospital. Services were held on Monday May 22, at the United Methodist Church of McLean. Rev. Arthur Winkler officiated at the services. Internment was in the Magnet cemetery under the direction of the Johnson Funeral Home. Martin J. son of Frank and Anna Nelson Bloomquist was born April 22, 1897 at Magnet. On June 4, 1919 he married Florilla Ludden. The couple farmed in the Wausa and McLean area. Mrs. Bloomquist passed away November 11, 1955. Mr. Bloomquist retired from the farm in 1960 and since that time has resided in McLean. He was a member of the United Methodist church in McLean. Survivors include four sons; Arvin and Neil of McLean, Eldred of Randolph and Duane of Norfolk; a daughter, Mrs. Rod (Janice) Wilbeck of Orange City, IA; a brother Paul of Waterloo, IA; four sister, Mrs. Bernard (Doris) Becker of Norfolk, Mrs. Bert (Helen) Mitchell of Randolph, Mrs. Herman (Ethel) Behrend of Wausa and Mrs. Harvey (Edna) Stahl of Dos Palos, Calif.; 28 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two children.
