Korth ====================================================================== RUTH BREDEMEYER PASSES AWAY AT MAGNET Mrs. Henry C. Bredemeyer, aged 27, died of influenza pneumonia at her house in Magnet last Saturday, December 7 after a short illness. Ruth V. Cunningham was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.B. Cunningham of this city and was born in Harrison county Iowa, September 30, 1891. When a young girl she came with her parents to Randolph and was educated in our high school and later at the Wayne Normal. She taught school successful for about six years in the rural districts of Cedar County and during part of this time acted as correspondent for this paper sending in items each week. She was married to Henry C. Bredemeyer of Carroll, later moving to Winside. During the past year they moved to Magnet where Mr. Bredemeyer was a clerk in the E.E. Snygg store. Her oldest child Blaine, died just a week before the mother. Ruth was a pleasant and capable young woman, was a good student and made friends who deeply regret her untimely death. She leaves her husband and little son Dewey also her parents and sister. The funeral was held at Magnet on Monday, Rev. Shoaf preaching the sermon and burial was made in the Magnet Cemetery.
