Korth ====================================================================== IDA CHRISMAN Services for Ida Chrisman, 87, will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Eugene Beye will officiate and the burial will be in the cemetery at Magnet. Miss Chrisman died September 29 at a local hospital. She was born April 4, 1899 at McLean to the late Charles and Nettie Smith Chrisman. She was a graduate of Randolph High School and Wayne State College and taught school in Osmond, McLean, Laurel and in rural areas, she was later employed by Federal Bureau of Corrections in Seagoville, Texas, Occuquan, VA and Alderson, W. VA. She returned and moved to Norfolk in 1965. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Nell Person of Magnet and Mrs. Esther Lewis of Springfield, Ore., and four nieces, Mrs. W.R. (Patricia) Hengstler of Creighton, Mrs. Glen (Marilyn) Henrickson of Gig Harbor, WA, Mrs. Ernie (Gwen) Voss and Caryl Chrisman of McLean. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
