Korth ====================================================================== JOHN CLAUSSEN Services for John Claussen, 81, Creighton formerly of Magnet will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Methodist church here. The Rev. Robert Hopkins will officiate with burial in the Magnet Cemetery. The son of Herman and Marie Claussen was born March 31, 1891 in Germany and died Tuesday in a Norfolk hospital. He married Adele Loeding in 1923 in Bloomfield and they farmed in the area. Surviving are his wife; seven sons Detlef of LaVista, John C. and Robert both of Wausa, Martin, Paul and Doug all of Norfolk, Harold of Shelton, Wash; four daughter, Mrs. Helmut (Marian) Huttman of Bloomfield, Mrs. Dale (Ruby) Hammer of Creighton and Mrs. James (Velda) Long and Mrs. Eldon (Diane) Fleming of Norfolk; 37 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Alfreda Blocker of Germany. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one brother, two sisters, two grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
