Korth ====================================================================== FLOYD DAWSON Services for Floyd Dawson, 82, Magnet, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church here with burial in the Magnet Cemetery. He died Sunday at the Osmond General Hospital. He was born February 18, 1905 at Magnet, the son of Robert H. and Ethel (Aird) Dawson and was married to Elvera G. Halleen on July 6, 1929 at Hartington. Mr. Dawson was a member of Masonic Lodge 251 of Wausa, the Yankton Consistory, Sioux Falls, SD Shriners, the Order of Eastern Star at Wausa, United Methodist Church in Magnet and the Old Time Baseball Association of Northeast Nebraska. Survivors include his wife; one son, Dan of Magnet; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eva Henrickson of Magnet and Vera Macklin of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents, one foster child, one sister and one brother.
