Korth ====================================================================== AMANDA DELOZIER Mrs. Amanda Delozier, aged 76 years, after an illness of several weeks, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Douge of Parson, Kansas, surrounded by her five children. Amanda Jones daughter of Richard & Charity (Dodson) Jones was born in Henry County, Mo., where she grew up to womanhood. During the Civil War, while her soldier lover was home on a furlough, she was married to G.T. Delozier. To this union were born five children, all living; Mrs. George Douge with whom she has made her home the last few years of her life; J.T. Delozier of Thomas, Okla,; William H. Delozier of Magnet; Willis H. and Elmer Delozier of Dewey Okla. Her husband passed away several years ago while they were residing at Magnet. She was a faithful member of the Baptist church for 25 years and was true to her family, her church and her God. A kind loving mother, who was always ready to do her part wherever she could. A short funeral service was held from the home of her daughter at Parson, Kansas, Tuesday afternoon at 4 o’clock conducted by Dr. H.A. Smoot, pastor of the First Baptist Church. The body was shipped to Magnet and services were held at the Methodist church at 2 p.m. last Friday, December 15, conducted by Rev. E.L. Corbit, the pastor. Burial was made in the Magnet cemetery.
