Korth ====================================================================== EVELYN DELOZIER Evelyn Marjorie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Delozier was born, February 21, 1923 on the farm 6 ½ miles northwest of Randolph and died in a Norfolk hospital at 6 p.m. August 28, 1937, aged 14 years, 5 months and 7 days. She had been ill since the first of July and entered the hospital July 15, a sufferer from a tumor of the heart. All that medical skill and loving care could do, was done to preserve this beautiful life, but to no avail. Gradually, as gentle as was her nature, the little girl failed until the peaceful end. She received her education in the Eagle Valley School, except the last year in District 58, Pierce County. She was a member of the Magnet Christian Church. Evelyn was a sweet, home loving girl, a favorite with schoolmates and friends; always cheerful even through her intense sufferings. She leaves her parents, one sister, Margaret, and two brothers Lyle and Melvin; also her grandmother, Mrs. Sarah McClain of Randolph, besides other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday at 1:30 and in the Magnet Christian Church at 2:00 Rev. Dunning in charge. Burial was in the Magnet cemetery.
