Korth ====================================================================== LELIA DELOZIER Mrs. W.H. Delozier, 54, passed away at her home at Magnet on Monday morning, December 28, at 8:30 o’clock. Mrs. Delozier had been in poor health for about three years suffering from Bright’s disease, but a paralytic stroke the day before Christmas and from which she never recovered was the immediate cause of death. Lelia Beaudette was born September 4, 1871, in Black Hawk County, Iowa, and as a small child moved with her parents to Union, Nebr. Here, she was educated in the country schools and grew to young womanhood. On April 11, 1889, she was married to William H. Delozier at Nebraska City, the young couple making their home in Otoe County for five years. Returning to Nebraska in 1899 they located at Bancroft, coming to Cedar County 21 years ago and since that time living in the Magnet vicinity. Mrs. Delozier was identified with the social and religious life of the Magnet community and did her full part as a good neighbor and true friend. Deceased leaves her husband and her eleven children, her own death being the first break in the family circle. The children are: Mrs. Emma Bartlett of St. Helena, Reuben Delozier of Randolph, Mrs. George Daniels of Magnet, Mrs. George Crelin of Brunswick, Mrs. John Lackas of Randolph, Sherman of Randolph, Mrs. Bessie Habernecht of Crofton, Floyd of Magnet and Elva, Clara and Elmer at home. She also leaves five brothers John Beaudette of Magnet and four living in the Walthill vicinity and four sisters of whom Mrs. J.E. Moore east of Randolph is one, the others living at Wathill and Lyons.
