Korth ====================================================================== MARVIN DELOZIER Funeral services for Marvin W. Delozier, 66, were held on Saturday, March 17, 1990 at the Christian Church in Magnet with Mike Slagel of Norfolk Christian College officiating. Internment was in the Magnet Cemetery. Marvin, son of Sherman and Pauline (Girardin) Delozier, was born July 3, 1923, near Magnet. He attended Magnet Public Schools and later due to a hearing loss, he attended the Nebraska School for Deaf in Omaha where he graduated. He attended the Christian College at Arlington, SD, Norfolk and graduated from San Jose Christian College as an ordained minister. He attended a Christian College in Illinois while pursuing his Masters. He married Wilma Edwards August 31, 1946, at Magnet. She dies three weeks later as the result of a car accident. In 1959 he married Betheen Shaw at Bayard. A carpenter, he passed away suddenly March 7, 1990 at Lindsey, Calif., where he was working for the winter months on some Christian projects there. He had been a resident of Ft. Collins, Co., for the past 35 years and a member of the Rocky Mountain Church of Christ. He has been involved in missionary work through African correspondence for several years. Survivors include two sons, Robin of Farson, Wyo. And Brian of Ft. Collins, CO; a daughter, Kathleen Joyce of Golden, Co.; two grandchildren; four brothers, Howard of Ft. Collins, Harold and Gilbert of Lander, Wyo., and Gail of Forest Grove, Ore., and two sisters, Mrs. Don (Lillian) Strivens of Redfield, SD and Mrs. Pete (Darlene) Brummels of Elkhorn.
