Korth ====================================================================== WILLIAM E. DELOZIER The funeral service for the late W.E. Delozier were held on Thursday afternoon of last week. After a short service at the family home near Bloomfield, the remains were brought to Magnet to the M.E. Church where the main services conducted by the Rev. E.L. Corbit. The large crowd of friends and old neighbors who had gathered to pay their respects to the departed one, gave evidence of the high esteem in which he had been held by all who knew him. Mr. Delozier was a man who loved his home and his family. He was always identified with the upbuilding influences of the community, being a man among men. The Delozier family lived on a farm just south of Magnet for about ten years until three years ago when they moved to a farm near Bloomfield. William Edward Delozier was born August 24, 1861, in Henry County, Mo., and died in a Yankton, SD. Hospital where he had gone for treatment on October 12, 1925, at the age of 64 years. He came to Nebraska in 1881 and on November 4, 1886, was married to Martha Jane Niday at Plattsmouth, Neb. To this union were born 11 children, three dying in infancy. The oldest son, Nealy, gave his life for his country somewhere in France on July 15, 1918. Those living are five sons; Herman, Lester, George, Paul and Roy, and two daughters; Mabel and Addie all at home. They with their mother are left to mourn the departure of husband and fathers. Besides his family, the deceased is survived by his aged mother, 80 years old who lives at Adair, Okla., and four brothers and six sisters.
