Mr. Meirose was assisting Mr. Boehmer in cutting hay and in working the field came upon the body. Coroner Joseph Bange was immediately summoned. On account of the condition of the body it was necessary to return to town for some means of handling it. It was brought to Hartington on Wednesday morning. An examination showed that the watch, pocketbook and check given by Mr. Boehmer in payment for his services was still on the body. An estimation by Dr. Dorsey indicated death was due to natural causes. Mr. Felber worked for Mr. Boehmer for some time, but had decided to seek another place. He had been paid in full and left and nothing was thought of the matter further until the body was found. A small hand grip has not been located. Felber was employed by Louis Hoesing for several years and his trunk is still at the Hoesing place. Felber is said to have been separated or divorced. Mrs. Felber and two daughters reported to reside near Yankton. An effort to locate them by phone has proved unavailing. Unless relatives are discovered by Thursday evening the body will likely be buried in the Hartington Cemetery.
