Korth ====================================================================== FELICIA GRAVES Mrs. Harley Graves, 87, passed peacefully from this life at her home in Magnet Tuesday morning, September 4 at 3 o’clock. She had been ill for about two weeks, the frailties of advanced age leaving but little strength to combat her illness. Felicia Mitchell was born in Clayton County, Iowa, July 25, 1847 and she grew to young womanhood there. She was united in marriage 70 years ago to Harley Graves in Fayette County, not far from her place of birth. Mr. Graves was in the gristmill business in Iowa for many years. He was a soldier in the Union army and a former member of Randolph G.A.R. post. Mr. and Mrs. Graves came to Magnet from Iowa in 1896, 38 years ago, and she has lived there since that time. Mr. Graves died July 9, 1931. Deceased leaves two sons and one daughter; Joseph of Tacoma, Wash., and Frank of Magnet and Mrs. Fred Ashby of Meadow Grove. She also leaves one brother and two sisters all living in Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock today (Thursday) in the Magnet Methodist Church and burial made beside her husband in the Magnet Cemetery.
