Korth ====================================================================== AMY GREENO Mrs. W.W. Greeno, 63, long time resident of the Randolph and Magnet communities, died on a Monday morning at a Norfolk hospital where she had undergone a major operation two days previously. She had been a patient at the hospital for over a week. Her condition was thought to be satisfactory following the operation but she was taken critically ill at midnight Sunday, death coming a few hours later. Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, from the Methodist Church at 2:30 with burial in the Magnet Cemetery. Amy Gifford was born October 8, 1882 at Audubon, IA. She moved with her parents to Belden when ten years of age, and on February 5, 1902 she was married to William W. Greeno. They lived on a farm near Bloomfield for a short time and later moved to the Magnet community where they made their home for many years. Mr. Greeno died May 8, 1942. Mrs. Greeno united with the Methodist church in her girlhood. Surviving her is one daughter, Mrs. Lola Weber of Randolph; sons, Lester of Magnet and Gerald of Sanborn, ND; three sisters, Mrs. H.A. Goodsell of Pasadena, Calif., Mrs. A. M. Goodsell of Iola, Kansas and Mrs. E.J. Greeno of Randolph; four brothers, Roy and Ray Gifford of Pasadena, Calif., Fred Gifford of Big Springs and Walter Gifford of Belden and four grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one son Dale who died at the age of two years.
