Korth ====================================================================== WILLIAM GREENO Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for William W. Greeno, Magnet pioneer, who died Friday at his home in Magnet following an illness that extended over several years. Burial was in the Magnet Cemetery. A native Nebraskan and resident of this territory since 1894, Mr. Greeno had been ill for several years and in critical condition for the past three weeks. Mr. Greeno farmed near Randolph and Magnet for thirty-three years before retiring in 1927. William Greeno was born at Blair, Nebr., September 30, 1874, and came to the Randolph community when twenty years of age. He farmed near here several years and in 1908 settled on a farm three-fourths of a mile east of Magnet. On February 5, 1902 he was married to Miss Amy Gifford, who survives. In 1927 he retired and the family had lived in Magnet and Randolph of the time since then. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Howard Weber of Randolph; two son, Lester of Magnet, and Gerald of Delavan, Minn.; five brothers, Oliver of Randolph, R.T. of Cloquet, Minn., John of California, Lou of North Platte and Thomas of Billings, Mont., two sisters, Mrs. S.T. Parker of Grand Island and Mrs. Rella Pain of California; two half brothers, Bert of Canada and Dan of Blair, Nebr. and four grandchildren.
