Korth ====================================================================== ALBERTINE GUNDERSON Funeral services for Mrs. Albertine Gunderson, 94, were held on Saturday, January 10 at the Magnet Methodist Church. Internment was in the Magnet Cemetery. Albertine, daughter of Andrew and Ida Spute Olson, was born August 17, 1886 at Mongona, IA. The family moved to Sioux City, IA. When she was two and lived in Royal until 1892 when they moved to Magnet. Mrs. Gunderson attended Magnet Schools and on February 16, 1910 she was married to Chris Gunderson at Magnet. The couple farmed until their retirement in 1947, when they moved in to Magnet. Mr. Gunderson passed away January 30, 1952. Mrs. Gunderson continued to reside in Magnet until October 1972 and since that time has been a resident of Colonial Manor in Randolph. She passed away on Wednesday January 7 at Osmond hospital. Survivors include a son Carroll of Goodland, Kan.; three daughters, Mrs. Elvina Boysen of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Leonard (Lillian) Leiting of Randolph and Mrs. Ida June Winkelbauer of Hastings; one sister, Mrs. Fred (Mae) Fielding of Palisade, Co.; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, one son and two brothers preceded her in death.
