Korth ====================================================================== SAMUEL GUSS Samuel Guss was born in Mufflin, Juniata County, Pennsylvania in 1844 and died on April 22, 1922 at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 7 days. He was married to Sarah E. Partner and they came west to Dakota County Nebraska on March 26, 1876, later moving to Cedar County, where he has since resided. Nine children were born to this union, all of whom with his wife survive him. Five daughters, Mrs. Clara Gorton, Mrs. H.L. Jorgenson of Magnet, Mrs. F.C. Grother of Friend, Nebr.; Mrs. I.L. Jones of Bloomfield, Montana and Mayne E. Guss of San Francisco, California, four sons, John H. of Sheridan, Wyo., Samuel A. and Lyman A. of San Rose, Calif., and Levi L. of Magnet, also one brother of Ukiah, Calif.
