WALTER HALLEEN

Services for Walter P. Halleen of Madison, SD., formerly of Norfolk, were 
held at the Hallenbeck Funeral Home in Madison. Burial was in the cemetery 
at Magnet.

Mr. Halleen died Wednesday at Madison Community Hospital at the age of 79.

He was born in Cedar County, Nebr., August 5, 1895 and married Mabel Hansen 
at Bloomfield October 26, 1917. He was employed by Paxton Gallager Hardware 
Company and later for the Larson Hardware Company of Sioux Falls for many 
years. He and his wife had resided in Madison, SD., the past 15 years.

Mr. Halleen is survived by his widow, Mabel, two daughters, Mrs. E.F. (Jerene) 
Binkerd at Downers Grove, Ill., and Mrs. Edward (Shirley) Johnson at Lincoln, 
one grandson and one sister Mrs. Ellen Robins of Grand Island.
