JOHN HARTSOCK SR.

Services for John Edwin Hartsock, Sr., 99, Cole Camp, Mo., will be at 
2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Randolph. Burial will 
be in the Magnet Cemetery. He died at Cole Camp on Thursday, July 30, 
1992.

He was born Feb 1, 1893 at Albion, the son of Thomas and Margaret 
(Parkhurst) Hartsock. On May 3, 1917, at Winner, SD., he married Burnas G. 
Thayer of Ionia, MO. He was a retired farmer and member of the Non-
Denominational Church since 1925.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Colin of Campbell and John Jr. of Ionia; 
five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; 
and sister, Blanche Hartsock of Pines Bluff, Wyo.

He was preceded in death by parents, four brothers and four sisters.
