Permission granted by Rob Dump, Editor, Cedar County News Hartington Herald is no longer in print. ====================================================================== Hartington Herald, 5/10/1928 Woman Dies at Home of Daughter - HH 5/10/1928 Mrs. Nancy Haskins, mother of Mrs. Carl Chester and Harvey Haskins of the Randolph vicinity, died at her daughter’s home Tuesday afternoon being in poor health for some time. Mrs. Haskins was 85 years old and has 115 direct living descendents. Her husband died about 18 years ago, but she leaves to mourn 11 children, 65 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. Short funeral services were held by Rev. Mr. Andrews at the Brenner and Nelson funeral home parlors on Wednesday morning and the body was sent to Harlan, IA, where she will be buried beside Mr. Haskins and two children.
