Wynot Tribune, November 12, 1914 Fatal Accident John Hoebelheinrich, residing northwest of St. Helena, was kicked in the abdomen by a vicious horse last Friday, and received injuries from which he died. The kick was very severe, mutilating the body badly. The victim was hurried to the hospital at Yankton, where the surgeons sought to operate and save his life, but he passed away on Saturday. The deceased was the twenty year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hoebelheinrich, Sr. Besides his parents, he leaves to mourn his untimely departure three brothers and five sisters. The funeral was held from the Catholic Church at St. Helena, Monday, November 9th.
