Korth ====================================================================== RUBY JOHNSON Funeral services were held Monday afternoon November 6th at the Wausa Mission Covenant Church for Mrs. Arthur Johnson. Internment was in the Magnet Cemetery. Ruby Sophia Johnson, daughter of the late Adolph and Mary Johnson, was born August 14, 1897, near Beresford, SD. She passed away on Friday, November 3, 1961 at the Osmond Hospital at the age of 64 years, two months and 21 days. As a young girl, Ruby Johnson moved with her parents to Hartington and then Wausa, Nebraska. September 3, 1919 she was unites in marriage to Arthur Johnson and throughout their married life the couple resided on the same farmsite between McLean and Magnet. She was confirmed in the Wausa Mission Covenant Church and she and Mr. Johnson were members of this church at the time of her passing. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Anna, who died in infancy, Mrs. Carl Anderson and Mrs. John Tyler. Left to mourn her passing are her husband, two sisters, Nels Olson and Mrs. Walter Swanson of Wausa; three brothers David of Osmond, Henry of Wausa and Edward of Randolph and twenty three nephews and nieces and many other relatives and friends.
