Korth ====================================================================== SUSANNA JOHNSON Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Mission Church For Mrs. Victor Johnson who died Monday September 17 after a lingering illness. Burial was made in the Magnet Cemetery. Susanna Louise Rosen Johnson was born in Rosas Barkaby Socken Sweden on February 15, 1866. She came to Oakland, Nebraska in 1890 where she met Victor Johnson. They were married at Emerson April 13, 1891; coming to Magnet in 1893 as a foreman on the Rail Road being built to Bloomfield. Shortly afterward, they located on a farm in Pierce County which they built up and where they reared their family until Mr. Johnson’s death October 29, 1941. They had celebrated their Golden Anniversary on April 13th of the year. One infant son preceded them in death. Mrs. Johnson is survived by one son Arthur of McLean; and one daughter Ruth of Wausa; and three brothers Frank Rosen of Coleridge and August and Charles of Portland, Oregon. Two sisters preceded her in death. She was called from this early life Monday, September 17th at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 2 days.
