Korth ====================================================================== VICTOR JOHNSON Funeral services were held Monday at the Magnet Methodist church for Victor C. Johnson resident of that community for over fifty years, who died Friday morning after suffering a stroke on Thursday. Burial was made in the Magnet Cemetery. A native of Sweden, Mr. Johnson came to America in 1885 and to the Magnet community in 1891. He and Mrs. Johnson celebrated their golden wedding anniversary April 13, 1941. Victor Albert Johnson was born November 28, 1863 at Tebult Hjortensocken, Kalmarian Sweden and came to America, settling at Oakland in 1885. Later he moved to Emerson where he was united in marriage to Miss Susanna Rosen on April 13, 1891. From Emerson, Mr. Johnson and his family moved to Magnet where he farmed continuously until his death. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Ruth Johnson of Omaha; one son Arthur Johnson of Magnet. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
