LAURA JONES

Services for Laura Jones, 78, Bloomfield will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday 
at the United Methodist Church in Magnet with burial in the Magnet Cemetery.

She died Thursday at Good Samaritan Center in Bloomfield.

She was born November 12, 1909, at Randolph, the daughter of John and 
Lottie (Thomas) Nichols. She was raised at Bloomfield. She was married 
to Melvin Jones on March 29, 1930, at Yankton, SD. Mrs. Jones was a member 
of the Royal Neighbors Lodge at Bloomfield and Methodist Church at Magnet. 
Her husband died in 1971.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and two 
infant brothers.
