Korth ====================================================================== RICHARD E. JONES Richard E. Jones, 81, died at his home in Magnet, Sunday morning at about 5:30. He had been in failing health for some years. Mr. Jones was a kindly man, a good neighbor and an upright citizen. He has lived in Magnet for many years- a pioneer citizen. Richard Edward Jones was born August 25, 1856, at Clinton, Mo., and was united in marriage to Miss Mary Douge 59 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Jones were one of the longest married couples in Cedar County. For 20 years, Mr. Jones worked in the lumberyard in Magnet. Funeral Services were held at the Magnet Methodist Church Wednesday at 10 a.m. The church was filled with friends of the family. Rev. Wrick of Meadow Grove and formerly of Magnet conducted the services.
